MURAMATSU Yume
Born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
At the age of 9, he started playing the trumpet at the club activities of an elementary school.
He studied trumpet under Taizo Okuyama and chamber music under Takaya Hattori, Shigeo Okura, and Yutaka Aihara.

While attending high school, participated in the All-Japan Band Competition National Tournament, All-Japan High School Selected Wind Instrument Tournament, and Japan Wind Instrument Ensemble Contest National Tournament.
Performed with former NHK Symphony Orchestra trumpet player Hiroki Tochimoto at the 16th West Japan Band Festival, and with conductor Michiyoshi Inoue and Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra at the 24th Okazaki Citizens' Classic Concert.

Received the highest award (1st place) in the brass instrument section of the 26th KOBE International Music Competition C category and the Hyogo Prefectural Governor's Award.
